- Super Kids Resale! This huge twice annual sale is happening this weekend at Plaza 205, just east of Mall 205. Over 60,000 items will be for sale at great prices. Friday: 9am – 8pm, Saturday: 9am – 5pm, Sunday: 9am – 5pm. Free. More details here.

-Packy’s 50th Birthday Celebration at the Oregon Zoo! Head to the zoo for music, games, and cake for humans and elephants. The party begins at 10am, cake is at noon, and Packy gets his cake at 2pm! Packy’s party will also commemorate his place in history – in 1962, Packy became the first elephant to be born in North America in 44 years, and he’s held a special spot in his fans’ hearts ever since. - ComedySportz 4 Kids Now there’s a special ComedySportz show just for kids! Games and suggestions are for the 12 and under crowd, with lots of audience volunteers! Fantastic improv comedy just for kiddos! Reservations are highly recommended. And, make sure to call first, sometimes the show is cancelled if there are not sufficient advance ticket purchases. Today we have some neighborhood love for our good friend Melissa from Baby Boot Camp!

Baby Boot Camp is a stroller fitness group, designed to get moms to their pre-baby fitness levels without having to pay for a trainer and a sitter. It’s a great workout, and helps balance mom’s desire to be with baby and take care of herself. Melissa also emphasizes how great of a social outlet it is! “Unfortunately, depression and feelings of isolation can hit hard after the birth of a baby. Baby Boot Camp gives you a place to go several mornings a week and a group of moms that understand how difficult parenting can be at times. When I got to work today I saw someone wearing some striped pants that were made out of the same fabric of an engineer’s cap. And, that got me thinking about how awesome trains are! No matter if it’s wooden, miniature, Amtrak or the zoo train (my personal favorite) – Trains are awesome!
