Whew, what a week! Here’s a few of our favorite things right now!
It may be back to school, but outside it’s still hot and summery! There’s lots of places to cool off along NW 23rd – including Alotto Gelato!
The Portland Streetcar reduced their 2 hour rates to only $1.00! Ride the streetcar up to NW 23rd, and check out all your favorite NW shops! Plus, the Central Loop Line opens on September 22! The Central Loop crosses the Broadway Bridge and stops along Broadway, Weidler, 7th, MLK and Grand connecting to the Rose Quarter, Lloyd District, Oregon Convention Center, the Central Eastside Industrial District and OMSI! On top of all that, the new streetcars were made in Clackamas, OR! Get all your streetcar info here.
This isn’t new, but it’s so cool! A pogo stick without a stick! Boing!
And, if you’re looking for some fun around town, maybe this would be fun – Walk, Roll ‘n’ Run at the Eastbank Esplanade, benefiting the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Oregon and SW Washington. Saturday from 8am-1pm. Kids under 12 are free, $25 reg. fee. 5K and 8K events. Details here.
Have a most wonderful weekend!
